Excellence's biggest claim to fame was the creation of the Lycos Investment Challenge (in conjunction with Max's Investment World). This was a free simulation game that let people play the real stock market using fake money and ran for over 3 years. Excellence did the HTML, CGI Perl Scripting, PHP and Database Programming and Unix System Administration for the original game and assisted in developing and maintaining a number of similar games for other sites.
